Hello everyone, here is the list of rules you must follow if you are a member of The Writers Roundtable. This will be updated when necessary. If you have any ideas, please put them in the suggestion section. Anyone who comments here will have their post deleted.

*Rules are not ordered by importance.

General rules:

1. Keep everything PG-13, including writing.

2. Be kind to everyone. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, or any other discrimination will not be tolerated.

3. You will get two warnings before you are kicked from the group

4. SELF ADVERTISING, spam messages, AND OVERALL CRAP that is posted here will be PROMPTLY AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY DELETED from existence.

Writing rules:

1. Post your writing in the correct section, sorted by genre.

2. ONE PIECE OF WRITING EVERY THREE DAYS. Example: If you posted writing on Monday, you wouldn't be able to post until Thursday. This will give everyone time to read each post.

3. People with extreme violence, graphic scenes, or unnecessary swearing in their writing will get a warning, and be forced to take down the post. If you have writing that could be unsuitable for some people, please put a trigger warning in your post.

4. If you share writing, you will be expected to give feedback to at least one other member of our group. It is not required, but you are encouraged to read and comment on other people's work. If we see you as an active member of our community, we will be more likely to give you feedback.

5. When posting writing, always say what type of editing you want, if any. You are also welcome to ask us questions, like “Does the plot make sense?" or "Do the characters seem real?" If an author doesn’t want suggestions, then don’t give it. Respect their requests.

6. When commenting on people’s work: ALWAYS put at least ONE thing you liked about the piece, then possibly a suggestion. Pay attention to what they want. If you are seen criticizing other people’s work, behind their backs or directly to them, you will be warned.

7. Any huge pieces of writing that is posted directly into a share section will be deleted. We need to keep the chats flowing, and huge posts will clog it. Instead, post a link. Google Docs is great, but you can also share using the Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ creative writing section. Downloads are also welcome, along with any other writing platform.

8. Plagiarism will NOT be tolerated. If you are caught stealing someone else’s work, you will be promptly kicked, banned, and reported to Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ staff. Things like that will stay on your record. Don’t be stupid enough to try it.

Thank you for joining our community, and I look forward to reading your work.

-Olivia :)
