Discussion thread for B2 C8-15. Very late posting this (that's the bad news), but June 17-23 is a week off (that's the good news).

If there's anyone willing to assist as an admin, I'm overwhelmed between trying to keep everything here up to date, and real life. Let me know if you're up for it and we can discuss in PM.

For now, we have until the 23rd to catch up through B2 C15.

I’ve finished through Chapter 15. The story proceeds with Don Quixote and Sancho going off to find Dulcinea. The details of the story are similar to those in book one except that now Don Quixote sees Dulcinea as she really is and Sancho tries to convince him that she is indeed a princess and that D.Q. has been enchanted.

I really don’t know what to make of these events and encounters. Perhaps we just have to wait until the story unfolds.

I thought this might interest some of you. It includes some history of Cervantes, why he wrote Part 2, the discovery of his remains, and some cool quotes.

Tina D | 54 comments Brian, I am currently on summer vacation for 6 weeks. I have a lot of projects I've got going on (all the stuff I never get to when I teaching FT) but if you need some temporary relief I may be able to help.

I am catching up (almost there!) again. I've been finding it amusing how Cervantes comments on his own text throughout the book, esp in Part 2.
