Definitions:Lesbian: a gay woman, meaning a woman, woman-aligned or feminine-aligned person who is attracted to women, woman-aligned or feminine-aligned people. Also described as non-men who are attracted to non-men.
Trans/transgender: A person’s who gender does not match the gender they were assigned at birth.
Genderfluid: A person whose gender identity changes over time. A genderfluid person can identify as any gender, or combination of genders at any given time. Their gender can change at random or it may vary in response to different circumstances.
Bisexual: A person who is attracted to more than one gender
Gay: A person who is attracted to the same gender they are. Also used as an umbrella term for the LGBTQIAP+ community.
Pansexual: A person whose attraction is not based on gender.
Genderqueer: A person who does not subscribe to conventional gender distinctions but identifies with neither, both, or a combination of male and female genders
Asexual: A person who rarely, under certain conditions or never experiences sexual attraction.
Aromantic: A person who rarely, under certain conditions or never experiences romantic attraction.
Nonbinary/Non-binary: A person whose gender is neither male nor female.
Agender: A person who is genderless.
Intersex (flag not pictured): a term for people born with physical sex characteristics that cannot be traditionally classified as male or female. Variations may appear in a person’s chromosomes, natural hormones, genitalia, gonads, secondary sex characteristics, or some combination of these things.

Hello all! June is Pride Month in the US and many other countries, so we are celebrating Pride with a Read the Rainbow style read-a-thon. This will start June 23rd at midnight (your timezone) and end June 30th at midnight (your timezone). The goal of this read-a-thon is to read through all of the prompts in the next week.
Below you will find 11 different flags/representations of the LGBTQIAP+ spectrum (there are even more). Each Flag has three prompts. When you finish a book, please post a completion post:
