Getaway with Murder Diane Kelly 11/4/21

It's new cozy mystery series by this author, and I loved how different it was from the usual shops or library type mysteries. I do love those, but a different setting is fun sometimes especially in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Great characters that I liked right away, a gorgeous cat, and isn't that bear chain saw sculpture on the cover just the coolest?

I read Midwinter murder. It's been a long time since I read Agatha Christie and I was pleasantly surprised. The stories reminded me of the adventures Sherlock Holmes. Mainly mystery, not much blood, I liked it. Challenge complete.

All eyes turn to Lila who has had words with the deceased and it is up to her to find out who is behind his death as well as the other bad things surrounding her family.
