Year of the Tiger

The Year of the Tiger [2022]
Reference:

According to the Chinese Zodiac, 2022 is the Year of the Tiger. In honor of the event, let's read about werecat/tiger shifters!

Duration: February 1, 2022 January 21, 2023 (per Chinese calendar; 12 months)
Total # of Books: Self-determined, plus Bonus

Super-easy and Flexible Guidelines:
1. Re-reads allowed as long as the books are re-read in their entirety
2. All formats (print, ebook, audiobook) are acceptable
3. All genres acceptable (YA, erotica, fantasy, PNR)
4. Individual short stories within anthologies are acceptable, as well as full anthologies that feature tiger (werecat) shifter-centric stories. Only rule: the werecat/tiger must play a major roll in the story (easier to do in shorter stories).

Now for the "challenging" part:
The tiger/werecat shifter must be a major character in the book. In paranormal romance, that means either the hero or heroine (or both) must be the tiger-shifter. In urban fantasy, that could mean the main character's love interest or friend/companion is the shifter and has a large role in the plot. If it's a "real" tiger, the tiger must have a major role.

BONUS: Books that have the word "tiger" in their titles -OR- a tiger on the cover, even if there isn't a tiger in the book.

Don't forget to add the date you completed the book. Ratings are optional.

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude | 376 comments I will aim for 5 (I find more lions and jaguars than tigers)... So far

Tiger's Daughter (Shifters Unbound, #14) by Jennifer Ashley triple points for this one! The FMC is a tiger shifter, and the word is in the title and a pic is on the cover. 07/06/22

The Last Warrior (Shifters Unbound #13) by Jennifer Ashley Iron Master (Shifters Unbound, #12) by Jennifer Ashley these also have a tiger shifter (or two) as a minor background character. 02/06/22 and 05/06/22

Hearts on Fire by Christina Berry Honorary mention goes to this one who is a domestic cat with the heart of a tiger🤣. 24/04/22
