Lots of fun visiting New York with Rhode Island Red by Charlotte Carter 4.5 stars

A nice historical visit to New Jersey with Girl Waits with Gun by Amy Stewart 4.0 stars

Visited Illinois in various realities with Dark Matter by Blake Crouch 4.0 stars

Visited Portland Oregon with Ursula K. Le Guin: The Last Interview and Other Conversations by Ursula K. Le Guin 4.5 stars. While some of the interviews took place at her mother's home in Berkeley CA, the majority took place at Ursula Le Guin's home in Portland. Great book 4.5 stars.

Visited quite a few places with this story but lots takes place in DC, The Mark Of The Assassin by Daniel Silva

Visited Delaware, the fictional town of Hawkes Harbor, Hawkes Harbor by S.E. Hinton, 4.5 stars

My visit to Arkansas, not a pleasant one. Most of the story was set in a Japanese internment camp at Camp Rohwer; They Called Us Enemy by George Takei 5.0 stars

Besides the online world, Ready Player One by Ernest Cline visits 3 states in the future; Oklahoma, Ohio and Oregon. I picked Oklahoma as that's where Wade starts out.

A visit to Tennessee with Rep John Lewis, a true American hero, in March: Book One by John Lewis. Alabama and Washington DC are also featured.

My latest visit does go to various locales but is centered around a government facility near Tacoma, Washington. That would be graphic novel BRZRKR, Volume 1 by Keanu Reeves

A cold winter visit to Vermont, Tucker Peak by Archer Mayor (5.0 stars)

Visited Midnight Texas and I'm afraid I won't be going back. Day Shift by Charlaine Harris (NR)

A visit to Alabama to see Cory Mackenson in Zephyr; Boy's Life by Robert McCammon

Visited a couple of states in the Northeast with The Electric Kingdom by David Arnold. I decided to use New Hampshire as it seemed to start there.

Visited my 20th state in the final Locke & Key story, set in Lovecraft Mass; Alpha & Omega by Joe Hill

Locke & Key was excellent. I may have to explore the World War portion....

In The Doll's House by Neil Gaiman the serial killer convention takes place at a hotel in Georgia. Not ever visiting there again. :0) 3.5 stars

The Twelve by Justin Cronin also takes place in Texas but a good portion also takes place at the Homeland, in Iowa. I choose Iowa for this visit..

A visit to Mississippi amongst other Southern states with March: Book Three by John Lewis 5.0 stars

A visit to North Carolina to watch basketball playing brothers Josh and Jordan with The Crossover by Kwame Alexander 4.5 stars

My latest visit is to Connecticut - No Next of Kin by Doris Miles Disney 4.0 stars

A visit to Illinois to see what's going in Harry Dresden's world.. Summer Knight by Jim Butcher 4.5 stars

My visit to Florida is a short story, The Illuminated Man in J.G. Ballard's The Terminal Beach. 3.5 stars

A very short visit to Hawaii in this graphic novel collection, Ms. Tree, Vol. 4: Deadline by Max Allan Collins 3.5 stars. Ms. Tree heads to Hawaii in the 2nd part of Death, Danger and Diamonds to help a fellow PI exact revenge on a pair of murderers.

While this story did visit other states, it was in Kentucky for a good portion, Let the Fire Fall by Kate Wilhelm

A portion of this action / hard case crime graphic novel is set in South Dakota. Gun Honey, Vol. 2: Blood for Blood by Charles Ardai 3.0 stars

A visit to Michigan with my latest, Vanish in an Instant by Margaret Millar 4.5 stars

Arizona is my next spot to visit. While Agents of Dreamland by Caitlín R. Kiernan does also wander to Maine and California, a portion takes place in Winslow Arizona. (3.5 stars)

According to google, The Field Guide by Tony DiTerlizzi, the first Spiderwick Chronicles book, takes place in Maine. Who am I to argue. 4.0 stars

Visited South Carolina and couldn't wait to leave... because of the book, of course... The White Road by John Connolly 4.0 stars

An action-packed visit to Nevada with Heat Seeker: A Gun Honey Series by Charles Ardai 3.0 stars

I had a few states to choose from with Wanderers by Chuck Wendig as the story did visit quite a few. But it all ended up in Colorado so I'll check off that particular state. 4.5 stars
