Katy (kathy_h) | 882 comments Are we going to nominate books of the month to read together for this challenge like we did last year?

Would you like to? We can! We had a thread last year discussing group reads and the consensus seemed to be that we don't need to have them all the time. But if there's interest, I can set one up!

To streamline it, maybe we can nominate which challenge theme vs. have a vote? Or I can go down the line?

Katy (kathy_h) | 882 comments Either down the line, or vote for the theme, I don't mind. But I would love the added push a group read gives me to get started on the challenge.

What Margaret said above. There was not enough participation to continue doing regular group reads, especially not for 3 books, however that doesn't mean we still can't have group reads.
We can just do it more informally. For example someone suggests reading a particular book and several others also want to read it, they can agree on when and we can set up a thread for it.

I'll ask in the reading challenge progress thread if anyone else is interested in joining in, and which region they'd like to start with!

Here's that thread: /topic/show/...
