After ACOTAR, I needed things to cure my book hangover so I read From Blood & Ash, the Bridge Kingdom, Kingdom of the Wicked, Zodiac Academy & all spin offs, Savage Lands, the Bargainer, A Ruin of Roses, Air Awakens, Game of Fates, and others. Now I am stuck on what to read next. Any recommendations?

Sam_reads_romance | 2 comments The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning is another good series post Acotar.

Plated prisoner is pretty good. By the end of book 2 you are hooked. The next book comes out in May this year. Ruin of Roses was a bit light on story and really heavy on smut. Book 3 comes out later this year, which promises more story. Overall it was engaging, with a bit of comedy and enough to keep you reading to find out what happens next. Let me know what you think!

Thanks! I've added that to my reading list :). The description had me at 'Alpha Fae' :)

Sam_reads_romance | 2 comments Fever is easily one of my favorites. I read it before ACOTAR, and was actually pointed to ACOTAR to help cure my post Fever hangover. I hope you enjoy it!

Kristin (kristinalyse) | 1 comments One book series I never see recommended is the Fantasyland Series by Kristen Ashley, first book is called Wildest Dreams.
Definite trigger warnings for sexual and emotional abuse (all books are enemies to lovers, sometimes to the extreme). But Kristin Ashley's writing style is one of my favorites, you can visualize everything in her world, everything from the outfits to the environment (but never too wordy or boring - and I say this as a person who typically skips past wordy descriptions in books to the next conversation). I definitely recommend!!!!
Spice level is like a 3/5, since plot is a huge factor in the stories too

Great timing on the recommendation - I am just coming to an end of book and will definitely check this out! Totally hear you on the overly wordy description of what people are wearing, where they are visiting. Etc I need enough to create the picture but not a 5 page description of a dress :)

Kristin - you can recommend books to me anytime! I am 30% into the Wildest Dreams and LOVING it. Drakkar is such a cave man :)

Jodie | 1 comments I have just finished ACOSF and feel so sad its over!! I was planning to read the Throne of Glass series next, is it as good?

Totally had the same feeling! I read them online and didn't know there were 2 bonus chapters - one from Rhys POV and one from Azriel's POV. Have you read those?

I didn't like Throne of Glass as much - the story is interesting with some good twists and turns. It's a 4 for me vs. ACOTAR was a 5.

Have you read From Blood and Ash? That was another series I scored a 5.
