My local library and others in our library system have a yearly
Ultimate Book Nerd challenge. Read 50 books (or more) in a year, from 50 (or more) different categories and win a t-shirt or book bag. Read 60 and your name gets placed in a raffle for more prizes.

I joined because I can list the books I read in GR group challenges and because I want a t-shirt that says Ultimate Book Nerd on it.

Anyone else in a local challenge? Could be worth it! My library doesn't require you to have a library card to participate but that means no t-shirt for you, LOL!

I'd love a t shirt that said Ultimate Book Nerd! I do have one that says that I'm a Limited Edition!

A local book club has never worked out for me, but the moderator of the BLK Group has organised a challenge to help us read more books by NZ authors & it looks a lot of fun. :)

It’s not the same but I’ve been participating in the genre challenge over at the UK Book Club here on ŷ������. That’s only one genre a month, though—a much slower pace.

Yes BLK just has prompts - 12 of them. A nice easy pace!
