This chapter was a doozy. LOTS going on here. We have world building, possible foreshadowing??, and THE INNER CIRCLE.

Those character descriptions of these new characters were not for the faint of heart 😳 Who's was your favorite? I need your obsessions......so we can all obsess together.

I just finished chapter 16 and omg that inner circle!!! I love them all already. A ragtag band of outcasts who found each other and work together, amazing! It's hard to pick a favourite but I kinda love Azriel and Cassian. Their banter and their backstories! Although I do really want to know what happened to the burned hands! I just need more of them!!!:-D

This was the moment I stopped being reluctant about reading this book! I had been truly torn about Rhys and everything else happening so far, and hadn't even loved the first book enough to feel the sequel was necessary for me. But I am so glad I did!! Meeting these people, this awesome view into a well-established found family, showed me the side of Rhys and his world that convinced me . I fell in love with them first, with their stories and the ways they had all banded together for one another. For how much they cared, both for one another and for the ways their world could be made better.

My favorite this read through is Amren, I am just fascinated by her, she's like Dracula combined with Doctor Who and I am also WEAK for the 'tiny woman who could end you with just the strength of her pinkie finger' trope.

Eyes like 'leashed lightning' yesplease.

Yes I love the found family trope so much 🥺 Feyre has been so isolated and the having the entire friend group coming to visit was like the whole world opening back up again! I adore them.

Yes true, the first book could totally be stand alone tbh. I feel the same way though about the second book being a game changer once Rhy's friends were introduced.

I love that Amren description haha! It is absolutely perfect.

Cassian and Azriel are definitely my favorite duo, and Azriel is definately my favorite 🤗
