hello members!! the challenge will be the same as last year, and i hope that as many of you as possible will participate!! the challenge is based off the roygbiv pride flag, and i'd like to thank mishall for her help last year!!! you were incredible to work with and i love you very much <33
PROMPTS:
red - book with a gay main character
orange - book with a bi/pan umbrella main character
yellow - book with a trans main character
green - book with an a-spec main character
blue - book with a nonbinary umbrella main character
indigo - book with a poc queer main character
violet - historical/classic book by a queer author (eg. oscar wilde, virginia woolf, etc.)
RULES:
1. the challenge only lasts for the month of june 2022 (june 1st - june 30th)
2. to sign up, list your name and state that you are participating underneath this post.
3. you are required to read ONE book for each prompt.
4. you cannot submit one book for two or more prompts. a separate book is required for each prompt to complete the challenge.
5. you cannot submit books you have read prior to june. rereads DO count, however if you have not read the book during the challenge, the book isn't valid.
6. the book is required to be at least 50 or more pages long.
7. we are keeping the challenge casual and simple, so there will be no points system.
8. you will submit all the books you have at the same time once you have finished the challenge. to submit your books, you will list your name and the books you have read for each prompt/colour in the 'SUBMISSIONS - pride month reading challenge!' discussion in this folder.
9. read the books in any order, but when submitting them in the SUBMISSIONS topic, put them in colour order!!

11. even if you have not fully completed the challenge, feel free to submit the books you HAVE read for any of the prompts as well.
12. you are not required to read a book for each prompt in the order of the prompts (eg. you can read a book for blue's prompt first if you want). however, do list all your books in the order of the colours when submitting.
