I read The Ghost and the Mystery Writer by Bobbi Holmes
This is the 9th book in the series Haunting Danielle.
I would have to say that this is one of my favorite cozy series I'm reading/have read. I love the "haunted house" and "ghost story" basis of this series. Not one book has disappointed me.

This month has to be my favorite so far. I absolutely love the theme of Halloween and most of my books are murder mysteries <3

Title: A Simple Murder by Linda Castillo

This is a short story collection that falls in the middle of Castillo's Kate Burkholder series. I liked that, despite the title, none of the crimes Burkholder investigated were actual murders and that each story had a relatively happy ending.
