Thanks, Sandy! Think will switch to the Stella & Lyndy series to complete the Edwardian setting: #1 Murder at Morrington Hall by Clara Mckenna. For some reason not able to link title :)

A. Setting - Tudor/Stuart England
B. Assassin #1 Lady Grace by Grace Cavendish
C. Date finished - 04-07-23
Rated 3 stars. Author is AKA Patricia Finney & P.F. Chisholm and writes one of my favorite adult mystery series: Sir Robert Carey also set in the 16th century.

This was an entertaining YA mystery I would have loved as a teenager. Witty dialogue and a very likeable main character: Lady Grace Cavendish. Unfortunately this is the only title in this series available through our library's Libby & Hoopla catalogue.

Love the book suggestions and the list of time periods. Never having lived in Britain or US or formally studied British/American history (though I love British History and have read lots of historical mysteries and biographies) I need to always look up the time periods. This really helps.
