Yes, I just kind of like this challenge. I have found alot of great books that I'd never have read because of this challenge. By the way, the "ransom" books were great!

Congratulations on your Title Link run, Dagny!
Sometimes it feels so easy to find the books that fit, but sometimes it feels as hard as climbing Mount Everest, lol. I had a terrible time finding books last quarter, but am making up for it this quarter.

Dagny,
That’s good to know. I’m not a big fan of Constance either, but I might try this book if it’s interesting. I didn’t read the previous one, but read spoilers about it and thought it sounded too over-the-top for me. Hopefully now the series will get back on track.

Nice one, Sherri! I have trouble even making five, not sure I'll ever do six, LOL."
LOL thank you! Sometimes, I think I should keep them shorter so I can do more challenges. :) I only have 2 completed for the quarter, and in looking at my pending lists, I'm hoping to complete 3 challenges for the second quarter.
1st. Quarter, Run 7:
1. The Villa by Rachel Hawkins
2. At The Villa Rose by A. E. W. Mason (villa)
3. Death is a Red Rose by Dorothy Eden (rose)
4. The Red Room by William Le Queux (red)
That's it for 1st. Quarter. I was going to add another book to this run, but I ended up abandoning it and won't get another book read in time. I'd rather have a shorter Run than suffer through a book I don't like because it fits a Challenge. Reading is supposed to be fun!

Great job, Sherri! This is probably our toughest Challenge, so it's quite the accomplishment to get to post a Run.

It definitely can be a challenge sometimes, for sure!

For me, the theme link challenge was much tougher, but the biggest problem I have with the title link is deciding which book to go with when I have multiple options with a specific word in the title. I have gone back numerous times and changed upcoming lists. LOL

1. The Girl in the Ice by Robert Bryndza EB

Me too! I am working on a Run that I had to change three times already. Finally, I’m on my last book for it and will be able to post it soon.

I have had so much fun with these challenges while 2,400 books/audiobooks stare at me with squinty eyes in condemnation. lol
Sure going to miss this group.
Sherri,
I will miss the group, too. However, there is nothing stopping you from doing these Challenges on your own. I know I’ll try to continue doing some of them.

The Title Link Challenge will not require you to read each book in the list consecutively. It will be a quarterly challenge, so any books read in a three month span of time will qualify for the challenge.
It should be pairs of books with the same one word. That word should be used only 1 time per Run. You can do as many Runs as you want per quarter. A Run should be at least 4 books long. These books can be read in any order before you post your Run that contains them.
Here’s an example:
1. The Dead Girls Club
2. The Bromance Book Club (“club is common to 1 and 2)
3. Naughty Girls Book (‘’book is common to 2 and 3)
4. One of the Girls (“girls is common to 3 and 4)
5. It’s One of Us (“one is common to 4 and 5)
The plural or possessive forms of a word are allowed when linking words. Example: you can use the words “mother, “mothers, or “mother’s as linking words for a pair of books.
I hope this is helpful! If you have any questions about this Challenge, please post them in this thread and I'll be happy to help you.
