Chelsea, for you I pick The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I loved this book! And I hope you like it, too :)
To the one who is next: Please pick a book from my physical tbr. Thank you :)

I am having a hard time picking a new book so hopefully this will help!

Two authors I've been reading the past several months:
Jon Talton -- I'm not a mystery fan but his stories are based where I live and so I've enjoyed them.
Edward Abbey ( his most famous is probably the "The Monkey Wrench Gang." ) He has a way of using words so neatly that I go back and read the pages again to find out how he did it.
With my books, you might like the series: "The Alternate Safe World of Sanctuary - Revised 2022" and "Return to Sanctuary - Plague"
Thanks for writing. I've enjoyed our conversation.
Mariam
Mariam, thank you for your insights, but the books you list are not from Kailey's To-Read bookshelf. Would you please pick again?

Kailey, for you I pick The Soul of The Octopus.
Octopus are my favorite animal and I LOVED this book, I hope you do as well.
Whoever chooses for me, please choose either from my ‘pick for me list or my ‘own this have not read yet list.
Thank you!!

Lindsay, I pick The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson for you. I'm a big fan of his work, and I've heard really good things about this series. I hope you like it!

Just seems like a good read to kick off Summer.
For me, if the next person could choose from my "Ready To Be Read" List : /review/list... THANKS!

For me if the next person could pick from
/review/list...

The Cruel Prince is one of my favorite fantasy series and I can't wait to have your thoughts on this.
For whoever's next, please pick my read from the 'to read' shelf:
/review/list...

A game of thrones by George R.R Martin
This book is one of my absolute favorite and I hope you can enjoy it!
For whoever's next, you can pick any book, but I tend to not really enjoy romance (except if its the subplot). I mainly enjoy books with dark academia them.
If not, you can pick from my 'to read' pile!
/review/list...

A River Enchanted because I am reading it right now, too!
For whoever's next, please choose from my Up Next shelf: /review/list...
Thanks!

For you A Cheesemonger's History of The British Isles

Please pick from
/review/list...

I can't figure out how to add my list so please just pluck mine from my tbr.

I choose Circe. I loved this book. The audiobook was incredible. The narrator’s voice was gorgeous. I hope you love it
I am ready for my next book. I can only do audiobooks due to my disability so I will have to find it. Thank you!

This sounds like fun. I choose The Frangipani Tree Mystery Looks an audiobook is available. Best to you.
I am ready for my next book.

For whoever's next, please choose my book from - /review/list...
or the 'downloads' shelf on my profile. Thank you!

Whoever is next can they pick from my /review/list...
Thank you

Whoever is next can they pick from my ..."
Hi Carrie,
I didn't see any books on your list that I have read, but one is a book I was interested in reading and would like to know how you like it. For the Wolf (Wilderwood #1) by Hannah F. Whitten.
I've slowed up quite a bit on my pace of reading due to less free time available, so I may take quite awhile to read my next book. Could the next person please pick from my Rec-Books list:
/review/list...
Thanks!

I had to dnf the book I was working on, so I need somebody to choose from my on-deck shelf: /review/list...

Whoever is next, please pick from my "Up Next" bookshelf:
/review/list...

Brittany, I chose Lady Tan's Circle of Women for you.

Pixiegirl105, I enjoyed Catfishing on CatNet and think you will too.
Next person, please choose from my on-deck shelf: /review/list...

Cheryl, I'm not familiar with most of your books, but I choose The Mennyms for you. I'm not sure if it will be sweet or creepy.
Next person, please pick me a book from my on-deck shelf:
/review/list...

For me, please, pick something from my want to read list. TY

Zelijka, I pick The Red Pyramid, this is a great and fun series! (and now i have to reread it!)

Pixiegirl105 I'm so glad you liked Catfishing on Catnet. It's my turn to recommend again, so I went deep into the past on your to-read shelf. I hope you like Where the Sidewalk Ends just half as much as I do... I had the whole set when my sons were little.
Next person, please pick from my on-deck digital-books shelf; you might not recognize anything but surely something will intrigue:
/review/list...

I think for you Cheryl, I'm going with Orion Lost
(had to add to my own TBR. i swear i'm just adding more by looking at other TBRs lol)

I'm going to go ahead and recommend it right back at you. :)
Whoever's next, please pick one of my digital books, that is to say, from this shelf: /review/list...

Cheryl, I choose The Wombles for you, because based on the date added it's been waiting on that shelf the longest and I think it deserves its turn :)
I'm ready for an assignment from whoever's next!
(I just joined this group and found this thread today. This is SUCH a cool idea!)
Edit: Please choose from either of these shelves (whichever strikes your fancy).
Books in my library: /review/list...
Books in my house: /review/list...

You've not read The Hobbit yet? Ah, well, if you like it half as much as I did, the five times or so that I've read it over the decades, you'll be wondering why you're only doing so now.... Have fun!
Next person, please choose from my on-deck shelf: /review/list...

For you I choose Old Winkle and the Seagulls, based purely off the fun title!
I finally finished The Way of Kings and LOVED it. Now I am ready for my next read.
Whoever picks for me- please choose from my ‘own this have not read yet shelf, or the much shorter ‘pick for me shelf.
Thank you and happy reading!!!!

I choose for you All Quiet on the Western Front. Intense, yes, but short and beautifully written.
Next person, please choose from my on-deck shelf: /review/list...

Whoever picks for me, please choose from my Owned-TBR shelf. Thanks!

Watership Down is a longer book than I prefer, but I've read it twice, so I think it's worth recommending to you. And it's been on your shelf for awhile, so it's time. :)
Next person, please choose from my on-deck shelf: /review/list...

I finished Emily of New Moon by L.M. Montgomery (9/13/23) ★★★★
Very sweet story of another outspoken orphan girl taken in by unmarried siblings. I can't decide if I like Emily of New Moon better than Anne of Green Gables. But that's high praise coming from me.

Next person, please choose from my on-deck shelf

Marla, I choose The Spirit Thief. i loved this whole series and i hope you enjoy it

Please post your book shelf.

To the person choosing for me: please pick a book from my up-next-list. (It will be my first book for this year's house cup challenge, so choose wisely :))
Thank you :)

Miriam - for you I will chose The Picture of Dorian Grey - because though I havent read it yet either, I have been meaning to, and would love to read it at the same time and discuss after, if you feel like it! I think it would also fit the House Cup Challenge pretty well - and October in general.
(Else, if you do not want to do that and would rather I pick one I have already read, I choose 'I'm glad my mom died', which I read at the beginning of this year and can definitely recommend! Would love to know what you think of it.)
For whoever picks my next book, please choose from my want-to-read list - or, if you can not find anything there, choose a book from my 'owned-tbr' instead. Thanks! :)

Lina, October seems like a good month to read some Poe, so I rec. Annabel Lee from your shelf.
Next person, please choose from my digital list: /review/list...

This seems like a really intriguing book and I hope you enjoy it!
If the next person could pick from my NetGalley tbr list that would be great :)
/review/list...

Chaela, Dear Wendy actually looks quite charming. I'd love to learn what you think of it.
Next person please choose from my on-deck ebooks:
/review/list...

Cheryl for you I chose: The Collected Short Stories of Saki
It is rather high rated and the comments say that it is beautifully written and witty. I hope you will enjoy it!
Whoever picks for me, pick it from my tbr (want to read) list. Thank you:)

Zeljka, for you I pick Homegoing - which I read in spring and would definitely recommend! I will be looking forward to hearing what you think!
We believe the one who has power. He is the one who gets to write the story. So when you study history, you must ask yourself, Whose story am I missing? Whose voice was suppressed so that this voice could come forth? Once you have figured that out, you must find that story too. From there you get a clearer, yet still imperfect, picture.Whoever picks for me, please pick from my want to read-list. Thanks! :)
~Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi

So now I am to pick for you...
For you I chose Frankenstein. I haven't read it myself, but I think it's the perfect time of the year to read it (even though October is over already)!
To the person choosing for me: please pick a book from my up-next-list.

Rowiey, I love fractured fairy tales, so I hope you enjoy Rapunzel: A Magic Beans Story. Let us know if it's as good as we hope!
Next person, please pick (randomly is fine) from my ebook shelf: /review/list....
