After managing just 11 books in 2022 and trying to get out of a 2+ years long reading slump, I have set my self a goal of 1 book a week / a total of 52 in 2023

I want to focus on building the habit of reading daily and really enjoy what I read so won't be afraid to DNF anymore!

If any of you wonderful people have good book reccs of books that got you out of a reading slump please share, would love some suggestions!

The year comes to an end with a great reading month!
I am so excited to share I completed my reading challenge by reading 55/52 books this year after only 11 books in 2022!
Indeed some may have been mangas, others on the shorter end (hello books with less than 200 pages) and perhaps I may have delved into a few more children's books than a girl in her 20s would have (but what the heck, they're amazing!), but all that matters to me is that I built up a (relatively) consistent reading habit and did not let my summer reading slump stop me from completing the challenge!

I found some amazing gems and all time faves, started the Harry Potter series for the first time (finally!), read my first manga series , first science-fiction book (and loved it, who would have thought?), AND dipped my toes into classics!

Very excited for 2024 as I already have a hefty list of books I cannot wait to get into!
