Tried to download to my new phone and it errors out and/or doesn't even show as an option to download.

Hmm.. that's weird. Maybe they're working on an update and it's glitching the download somehow? I'm on iOS and the app is fine on my end!

If I go to the Android Google Store it's not even an option. it's disappeared completely and I am almost certain I had it on my old phone (but then had to delete it due to space issues) meaning it's been removed from my purchase history. The only way I got to it this time was Google it outright and click on the Android link which then took me to the store where it would error out and not find said app. Very weird.

Have you sent in a ticket to Litsy? I'd be curious to hear what they say!

Hi 👋🏻 mine is working ok sometimes abit slow , I have noticed when posting a review on a phone you only got 450 characters where as people using the website on a laptop can write pages , that’s a tad annoying !

@Karon Buxton Are you on Android? I wonder if it's still a supported app for those with it already installed, but one they aren't allowing people to download now for some reason?

I checked my app store and noticed the same thing. So I emailed Litsy, and this was their response:

Unfortunately, the Litsy app for Android isn't currently available. We're working on getting it back in the store, though. In the meantime, please know that you can always access Litsy via the web: .

That doesn't tell us much, but at least they're apparently working on restoring it and it's not discontinued permanently!

@vinny Thanks for the update. I'll have to do that at some point. Days after my making this original post I was rear-ended and my car totaled. The next month my fiance passed away completely unexpectedly. The following month I spent sorting and packing up our life together so I could give up our apartment and move back in with my daughters. Last month and this month I have just been existing. Needless to say I was too busy and too distracted and too disinterested to investigate much further on my end, so I appreciate the feedback.

Just a heads up - I saw that someone on Litsy recommended a workaround for getting Litsy on a new Android phone. And the person who tried it said it worked:

julesG @squirrelbrain is right, I know how to get Litsy onto a new Android phone. 😉 You need to download the APK file from here: You can install Litsy with the file. Your phone might say it's from an unreliable source, but you can turn that off and install the app. I've tried it with two different Android phones and two Litten friends used this to install the app on new phones.

The above mentioned link also works if you want to update the Litsy App - because due to the Google App Store problems it hasn't updated automatically in some time. As Vinny quoted, I have tried this with different Android phones and helped a few Litten friends to get the App back onto their phones.

Well, poo, it downloaded but I can't get signed in. It says my PW isn't correct and it errors out when I try to send myself a forgot PW reset email. Guess I gotta stick with the website.

Maybe reset the password on the website and try again - with out the reset password email thingy? Then use the new password to log in?
