SPOILERS FROM HERE TO #5

2. Bonnifer Squoon
3. That Sara Cobbler didn't get to talk to Janner again (so far as we know). I would have liked for them to at least have one more conversation, to give their relationship some closure.
4. Argghh, that ending! At first it drove me nuts, but Andrew Peterson explained his reasoning in the introduction to Wingfeather tales, and now I agree with him. He said that whatever sense of mystery and wonder the end left you with is better than knowing everything that happened. And it's true.

5. Is now one of my favorite series, right under Narnia and LotR. Recommended for fans of The Land of Elyon series.

The first book is the BotM. A lot of us have read and loved the entire series, though, so I think it might be getting confusing. XD

I guess I should have asked if you meant the previous post or what the BotM questions are referring to....??

Bella off hiatus | 800 comments 1. Who was your favorite character?
Artham!
2. Who was your least favorite character?
Hmm... Claxton or Bonnifer S.
3. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be?
Maybe make the first book more fast-pased?
4. What did you think of the ending? (spoiler tags, please!)
SPOILERS (sort of) I LOVED and HATED it I cried so much and still do whenever I reread it and this will be like my 4th reread and the fact that i cried is a reason why I love it
5. What was your overall opinion?
I LOVE it! My fav series of all time

Isabella | 33 comments Whoops didn't realize it was just for the first book. Sorry😳

That's okay! If you want to discuss Book 2 (or even the whole series!), you are still welcome to! I just might skim over the messages just in case there are spoilers. :)

Sharon Loves to Read | 6953 comments Some of these will be hard to answer, thinking as I do, of the series as one book, but I will try my hardest to keep my answers to only this book!

1. Who was your favorite character? Nia

2. Who was your least favorite character? Zouzab

3. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be? It is a little *too* bizarre for me.

4. What did you think of the ending? (view spoiler)

5. What was your overall opinion? It is amazing, but I didn't see this first book as amazing on my first read. I liked it a lot, but it was too weird for me. I only began to love the series as I continued to read the next books. On reread, I am wowed by it not only because of catching things I missed the first time, but also all the things I know will occur that made this book more poignant than bizarre.

Elisabeth (the_world_through_catholiceyes) | 156 comments 1. Who was your favorite character?
Janner #oldestsiblingsunite

2. Who was your least favorite character?
Uh... I don't really know. There weren't any characters I really hated, although I kind of despised the mayor. Random I know.

3. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be?
I wouldn't want this changed exactly, but I think I personally would have enjoyed ths books more if the characters were older, but it is MG after all.

4. What did you think of the ending? (spoiler tags, please!)
I think it was good.

5. What was your overall opinion?
I liked it! It wasn't my favourite book in the series, maybe my third, but it was a good introduction to the series as a whole.

Cari Legere (carithewriter) | 528 comments 1. Janner or Artham (AKA Peet) or Leeli
2. Zouzab
3. Nothing in this book anyway
4. No clue how to do spoiler tags, so I'll just say it was AMAZING!!!
5. This is one of my favorite books EVER! NO ADAPTATION will live up to its glory (although we really should binge-watch season 1 of the series and share our thoughts)
