I really liked how the story was told from the main character's point of view. It felt so real to me. It wasn't like a filtered diary, but rather the honest thoughts of a determined teenager trying to change their life.
The story had a perfect mix of sad and funny moments. It introduced a variety of characters, some mean and others kind-hearted. Love, friendship, suffering, and even death were all part of it, making it feel true to life. I think anyone who has been a teenager can relate to at least a few things in this story.
And the best part was (view spoiler)[seeing Arnold overcome all the challenges he faced. He improved his relationships with family, made new friends, got back the old one, and discovered who he really is. It was a satisfying ending that brought me a lot of joy.(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]
