No spoilers please on this thread. Are you planning on reading this book?

message 2: by Ann (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ann (annrumsey) | 16677 comments I decided to use an audible credit and grab this one now. Waiting for my library turn was looking like August at the earliest and we have two group reads lined up then. After my most recent fantasy listens this seems like a good change-up.

Geri | 78 comments I have finished. And will wait for others to finish to discuss.

Ann (annrumsey) | 16677 comments Geri: I hope to not be too far away from that discussion! I started it this weekend. I have a business book to read for a work book club but hope to get some good audio time in soon.

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9340 comments I hadn't planned to read this but think I will. Not sure when, though, I'll have to check where I am in the library queue. Just started another audiobook.

Ann (annrumsey) | 16677 comments Carol: it’s quite compelling. The gothic atmosphere was initially a surprise. I used to enjoy those so this has been interesting. I’m about 75% in and finding it hard to put down.

Mary Rousseau | 1 comments I am going to try and read it this week.

Ann (annrumsey) | 16677 comments Geri: I'm just finishing it now,, it's very good and hard to put down.

message 9: by Sherry (new)

Sherry | 4416 comments probably won't get to this one in a timely manner- there's a 16 week wait for the library copy!

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9340 comments I'm 6th in line for a digital copy at my library so we'll see when that comes in.

message 11: by Ann (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ann (annrumsey) | 16677 comments Mine had a long wait, though I think the library ended up buying more digital copies. I do not regret using an audible credit.

message 12: by Geri (new) - rated it 5 stars

Geri | 78 comments I’m glad you did not regret using a credit, Ann! I thought you would enjoy it. 🙂

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9340 comments Mine just came in from the library. Am in the middle of Book Lovers by Emily Henry. It's going fast, will finish in a couple of days.

Marine | 7 comments Reading it right now. Just started yesterday. So far so good. It has some similarities with The Housemaid but the writing style is far better.

message 19: by Ann (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ann (annrumsey) | 16677 comments Marine, I enjoyed the gothic style. I hadn’t read a gothic-type book for a good while before this one.

message 20: by Sue (new) - rated it 3 stars

Sue Ardila | 2 comments Finished the audiobook. I always like when the dual POVs are given in a story.

Gflyy Dewyea | 11 comments This is my next read! I’m pumped to try another new author this year.

Marine | 7 comments I'm halfway through and I love the Gothic style of it!
