June finds fabled sea creatures including Charybdis, along with a cartoonish theme park map that may help her find her way.

June catches a security guard unawares, finds out he'd turned the cameras off for Logane, and tells him about Maury's demise. They watch a video feed of Logane's second execution of employees.

June gets the guard, Mark, to focus and trust her, getting him to commit to helping them find a way out.

The best way to avoid the mercs (Logane's goons) is to swim through one of the park tanks. As they're almost across, Mark is pulled down, turning the water red with his blood, as June learns it was a tank of saber-tooth herring.

June's trove of evidence is partly water damaged, but a thumb drive it still viewable. In in she finds a video file from Maury with a final message for her: destroy Trenchland.

I'm soooo annoyed while reading. *lol* Too many things just thrown in without them really being set up / fitting. And Cathy was right about the lack of an editor or proof-reader (the punctuation, typos and other errors keep throwing me). :/
