YES!!! Loved this book. It's dark and gruesome, but oh so good. And loved "the game" aspect to it, so cool :)

Very excited to finally be reading this one!

I just got back from the library, picked up and , since I figured I'd want to probably read the last one right after. Then I got home and realized that I already have Game on my Kindle! LOL Oh well.

I have the audiobook to listen to in my Audible library. I have about 3 hours left of the Undivided audiobook and will start this one!

I have the third book, too. Maybe we can buddy read that one next.

ooooo...I enjoyed this book too. Although Connie was very annoying and stupid in this one!

Sounds good Bluemoon and Becky! I powered through several hours of Undivided today so should be starting Game sooner than expected - of course it will take me longer to read since it is an audiobook.

I'm good with reading the third book together too!

So I started this yesterday and am already up to Chapter 29 (250 pages in.) I have some theories and really, really want to skim the ending, but I'm behaving and not peeking.

I really like that Howie, Connie and Jazz are all strong characters and don't need to be around each other constantly. I don't remember the first book following Howie and Connie around, so it's nice to see them being more developed.

Wow you are way ahead of me. I plan to start the audio tomorrow. I got side tracked and started Croak.

I really couldn't stand Connie in this book. I wanted to shake her!

This book has me totally absorbed, really into it like I was the first one! I just love mysteries in general, and suspense, so this is totally my thing!

Yeah, so far, I'm not very thrilled with Connie at all. Can she not see she's just making more trouble for Jazz?? (view spoiler)[ Although she did find that Ugly J spray paint thing I guess, so maybe that was worth her coming along on the trip, despite the failed sex scene! (hide spoiler)]

I LOVE Howie, he's my fave character in these books (besides Jazz)

I finished the book and have the dark circles under my eyes to prove it.

I was not happy with the decisions that Connie made throughout the book. (view spoiler)[ Seriously, mysterious texts & phone calls and she doesn't think that this person may just be leading her to her own death? And she doesn't talk to Jazz about it at all? I understand he wasn't available some of the time, but she only tried once or twice. And when she did, she didn't take his advice, like she knows crazy serial killers better than him. Howie is fun but I did get a little tired of his constant focus on all things sex related. Maybe too much teenage boyness for me.

Still loved Jazz throughout most of the book. The mystery itself was fantastic. I figured out some of it but could have kicked myself for missing one of the bigger puzzle pieces. (view spoiler)[ I figured out that there were 2 murderers (and that 1 was the guy who turned himself in) but missed the Monopoly thing. I thought maybe it was Chess or something. (hide spoiler)]

Anyway, GREAT book overall. These are inter-library loans for me which is part of the reason I'm trying to get through them quickly. The whole suspense thing throughout the book was the bigger reason, though.

Ok ladies I am super fan behind since I am listening to this on audiobook. I am just to the part where they are looking at the details of the New York case (in New York) with the Detective. I like it a lot so far.

Bluemoon:(view spoiler)[. It was the two scenes with the killers that kind of tipped me off. They seemed like they were in two different places. One with the annoying wife and one with the noisy neighbors. Now if I only had the info that Jazz had, I would have been clueless. (hide spoiler)]

I'm now up to page 407 and (view spoiler)[ MONOPOLY!! I didn't even consider that! I knew it had something to do with dice, and I'd figured out there are two killers, but that's as far as I got! And is Billy's sister one of the bad guys??? (hide spoiler)] This is SO GOOD!

I finished it! Oh WOWZA, what a cliffhanger! I'm glad I have the next book to read!

I'm okay with waiting for everyone to finish so we can read it together though :)

5 star read, LOVED it!! I only have a few minor things figured out, not the big twists!

I am over half done now and Connie is like a different character in this book. I don't like how she is being written. I like the rest though.

I'm almost done with Poison Study and then I will have to start Blood of My Blood because it's due back to my library next week. But I'll wait to talk about it until everyone has finished Game and started the last book.

Ok Becky. Want me to start a thread for Blood of My Blood now??? I am about 65% done with Game but should be done by the end of the week since I am driving 6 hours this weekend to go "home" for Easter :)

82% through the audio and LOVING it. The inclusion of Monopoly and Hat/Dog being separate entities is fantastic. Makes me wonder where the Racecar and Iron killers are xD

Also really wanna play Monopoly now. I have the Disney Villains edition. Anyone want in? :D

I'm to the point of wondering how many side references Lyga actually stuffed into this series -- Duncan Hershey feels like a play on the Duncan Hines brownie mix.

Then again maybe it's just me xD

No worries! Definitely gut-wrenching, I wasn't expecting it to be so in-your-face but it was actually kind of refreshing that he didn't gloss over things. One of my top 5 series for sure!

I was very impressed that he didn't take the easy/less gut wrenching way out since it is a YA series. Between this series and the Monstrumologist series I have a new faith that there are YA writers out there who can write smart and engaging stories and aren't afraid to sugar coat things or dumb stories down.
