I can't find a "General questions" category for the Fall 2023 Challenge, so will ask here.

For Task 50.1, specifically, but other tasks over the years, too...

If we need a certain amount of total pages and one of our (3) books that fits an option is only found as an ebook, can this be used AS LONG AS THE OTHER 2 BOOKS SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS?

In this case, the book on my TBR with the highest rating is found only as an ebook. It has been verified to fit the general length requirement. My other two books' pages are well over the minimum 750 (actually, the go over 1000).

So, can I use the ebook? Even if it is counted as "0" pages, I still would satisfy the requirement.

As long as your page total across the three books comes to <750 pages, that's fine. If the 750 total comes from the other two books you're reading for 50.1, you're good to go with the ebook.

hi Jayne - could we potentially get that added as an official rule next season (notionally could the same apply to like a 2 book task where 500+pgs are required if one book has the 500 pages)
