Jaime | 14 comments Ok so I've been trying to convince myself to just jump into a new series and then my brain gets in the way until I'm frustrated or get distracted by a new release in a prior series. This has gone on long enough and since I can't seem to pull the trigger I'm hoping you guys can encourage me to just do it. I like everything from Vamps to Faeries, Weres & shifters to Angels & Demons. I only listed any YA series that was an absolute fave as I'm well past my high school days and need mature books. Also if a series is listed it's a sure fire bet I've at least attempted to try any spin-off they have and didn't want to list them all (sorry my lazy bone flared-up). Also I've noticed I seem to gravitate more towards female authors as I have almost no male authors on any shelves so that May factor into recommendations. I have a list of series to start that has been changing for months but still haven't started anything new & it's not fun when my end of book sag hits and I have nothing to fall back on.

Here are my current/completed series;

Love, love, love: most if not all the books
Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole
Demonica by Larissa Ione
Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost
Charley Davidson by Darynda Jones
Fever (first 5) by KMM
Highlander by KMM
BDB by J.R. Ward
Covenant by Jennifer Armentrout
Penryn & the End of Days by Susan Ee

Like or maybe even loved for a while:
LOTU by Gena Showalter
Guild Hunter by Nalini Singh

Thanks so much for any help you can give me.

Jaime

Jaime | 14 comments Ok so apparently I decided to start Psy-Changling in my semi-conscious state. (I sleep shop sometimes, my version of sleep walking I guess). As I woke this morning to an email notification thanking me for my purchase.

I would still love recommendations for the next new one if you have the time.

Thanks

No problem. :) I figured I'd rather just give you a bunch and let you browse. More likely that you'll find something to interest you that way.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 2179 comments If you start Patricia Briggs's books (I second/third or whatever the Mercy Thompson books recommendations above) and get hooked -- before getting into her Alpha and Omega series -- there is what I feel is a necessary "prequel" novella in the On the Prowl (Alpha & Omega, #0.5) by Patricia Briggs anthology.

I don't always read all the shorter works, prequels, etc. But that one seems pretty pivotal.
