I'm 30% of the way though the book. I'm enjoying the female friendship and the MFC is okay but I'm really not vibing with the main love interest and the MFC when she's with him. The storyline also doesn't seem to be going anywhere and it seems obvious that they're going to get back together.

I'm not sure whether to continue reading or not?

I hated it at the beginning--hated the premise and almost always hate dual timeline anyway. But surprisingly I ended up really liking it and the way the past and present came together.

Well when you're reading romance, yes, it's obvious they're going to get together lol.

If you were expecting something action packed with unexpected twists, then no, it's not really going to get better and is probably not the book for you. The "storyline" is literally just the relationship between Wyn and Harriet. Their friends and his family and the activities the group is doing together all exist to enrich the relationship between the two MCs. I think it's an incredible book but with the complaints you have now I can't imagine you're going to end up liking it much more. The emotions are the plot in this one.
