Hi I have the same name as another author and when I went to verify my account it merged me with hers. We need to be seperated to be given the correct book.

The following listings are work I did, but they are not books. They have no isbn & are not available anywhere. I am not an author on goodreads. These listings appear under my name along with 4 other very odd books that do not belong to any goodreads author. please remove these non-book listings from goodreads, or in the event that they cannot be removed, please remove their descriptions and change the author name to Anonymous.

Hi Lisa in future please read the first post before posting in one of these long running threads. This thread is for requests by authors to move their books from another author profile to theirs - or vice versa. This thread is not for someone to get their books removed altogether.

The other four books appear to be authored by someone by the same name as you who hasn't claimed their GR author profile & is under no obligation to do so. We certainly won't interfere with our members' reading records by removing them or marking them as anonymous!

For the two books that are definitely yours - I have found quotes from at least one of them online, which seems to suggest that it existed in some form online. The other one has a publisher listed.

I doubt if you can get the second one removed but you can try explaining about the first one to Support (Staff) We are all volunteers in this group & can't help you.

I'd link to the first review of the first book as that seems to indicate that this book is not in a format alowed on GR. But I can't make that decision.

That usually happens when there is an URL (or something recognized as an url according to GR, which is a period not followed by a space) in the description. I've corrected the description, so it should work now.

I was helping author Pat Henneberry claim her author profile for her book My Soul Showed Up, and the form we submitted accidentally linked to my ŷ������ account instead of hers. Is there a way to unlink my account as the author account asap, and then I'll make sure she is logged in and can re-submit the form to claim her author profile please?
