I like the creativity, so yes :) I will accept that as well.

Toshita wrote: "Will you be checking the strands to see if we got it right or will we find that out as we read for the words?"
Yes :)
If you guess correctly, I will put the answer in the ANSWERS box on the strands tab the team is currently guessing for.
Yes :)
If you guess correctly, I will put the answer in the ANSWERS box on the strands tab the team is currently guessing for.
Also adding to my answer up above, that is based on if your team left that box blank. If you didn't, then I will bold them if they are correct or not. Or something like that. I'll let you know when I'm checking the team's strands tab for sure.

I have a couple of questions in the end.
So basically
concerning the puzzle
- the theme of the puzzle goes from edge to edge and is highlighted in yellow
- each of the other words in the puzzle is in a different colour
- if we wrote the words in the box, you will make in bold the ones that are correct
- if we didn't, you (Alaina) will write the correct one in the box
I suggest if you're the one to write them, put them in bold too to avoid confusion
- if the word is not correct we need to find the alternative, right?
for the review v puzzle words
- each book will be used for one of the words in the puzzle
- when we complete the puzzle (correct words + book for each word) we will get 50 points + another puzzle
- the words have to be found in text or title or on cover (or the other options approved here or on the challenge home thread)
a couple of questions:
- if we use a book but the word is wrong, we will either have to fit it to the new word, or it will be used for page points, correct?
- is there a time limit to complete the puzzle?
- is there a time limit to finish all the words on the puzzle?
- will you be able to confirm the words are correct before we start using them? or what can we do to avoid redundancy?
- what if the words are not in bold? (like the case now for Team Word Finders Anonymous)

If the word is correct, yes, I will bold that word. If it is not correct, I will let you know on the strands tab. If you look at your current strands, you will see I added the note, "bolded answers will be correct. - Alaina" if you get an answer wrong, I will let you know on that tab like a note.

If you used a book for an incorrect word, it is already counted towards that word/page points.
No, there is no time limit. You have the entire month of January to complete one puzzle or more. Up to you/the team.
Again, no, there's no time limit. The challenge ends on January 31st so you have until then.
I will not confirm if any words are correct when you are trying to solve the puzzle before you start answering. If you are confused about how many words there might actually be (like some people were for the first puzzle) I will state if the number of words you need to find is correct or not.
So the words that WFA has read for, Fantasy & Romance, are bolded in the ANSWERS box.

So the spreadsheet part is more for your team to know what has been read if they haven't looked at the review thread. If you just want to do the review thread, then when you are posting, please add "not on the spreadsheet—please add** and someone will add it for you.

Sure, you can use a cookbook and half the points :)

Would I potentially be able to use the colour on this cover to fulfill the prompt of the word guacamole but in color?
It fits the colour palette

You can combine

There are sunflowers on the cover, and bees like flower, and they live in a beehive.

I like the loophole, but there is another way on how this book would work for beehive. You can use any combination to use a book towards an answer. Doing a quick word search in google books, it looks like "hive" is in text (same with the word "bee"). There's also the letters bee in a title for a different edition, Zonnebloemzussen.
The word doesn't technically need to be together in text if that makes sense. Does that help?

Yes, thank you Alaina!

Oh, that is weird. Yes, it should go to .5 pts.

Sorry for the delay; the formula has been fixed now on all spreadsheets.
