Denise | 58 comments My classic book clubs first pick of the year is
A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I'm going to slot it in task 22, published before 1850

Cat (perkyrusalka) | 37 comments Task 13 - "a romance novel" can double count with this year's task 22 "read a holiday romance that isn’t Christmas" or task 10:
"read a romance book that doesn’t have an illustrated cover". You might even get one to count triple.

Also task 20 "a graphic novel" with this year's tasks 14 and 23.

Elizabeth (elizabethlk) | 359 comments A lot of the 2015 tasks are ones that would either overlap with the 2025 ones or with tasks from my personal challenge, so I've decided to use a book I've finally gotten to that doesn't work for any of my other tasks for the year.

I'm about halfway through All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque, which works for 19, A book that was originally published in another language (that language being German). My own personal challenge has a lot of translation specific tasks because it's an area I'm trying to read more of, but this one doesn't actually work for any of them.

Lauraellen | 40 comments I just picked up Fairest by Gail Carson Levine on a whim from Libby (I read Ella Enchanted as a kid but never got to this one), and it fits for 15: . A book that is a retelling of a classic story (Snow White)
