Sarah-Vanessa | 272 comments The book wasn’t available in my reading apps, so I‘m listening to the audiobook. Sadly in the audiobook they don’t name the chapters so I have no clue where in the physical book I am at the moment. But I‘m definitely enjoying the story.
Just hope the MC doesn’t fall in love with the detective. It seems to be a thing in these cozy mystery novels. But anyway, so far I‘m definitely interested in finding out who murdered Frances and what happened in her past. Also anyone else suspects there was something going on between John and Frances friend?

Oliver seems sort of suspicious, why would he be cheerful after Frances dead. And that other woman - sorry forgot her name- she’s so obnoxious

Strange things with Dr. Owusu. She said she doesn’t take appointments on that day and then her book has appointments. I kind of liked her, but something feels off..

Emily sounds like an awful friend.
I‘d definitely like to know what‘s in that folder about Annies father.
Also absolutely excited how this group is going to work with or against each other to find Frances murderer.

Sarah-Vanessa | 272 comments Ok, so I put this read aside for a while. First wanted to finish the other group read and some other books I had pending.
Is anyone reading this as well and would like to discuss? I feel lonely, talking to myself *lol*.

Up to Chapter 24
Ok, so Emily is pregnant with Frances boyfriends baby and Frances still is willing to help her. Wow! Who is Peter? Frances brother? Sort of missed that one

There’s another dead body, Emily‘s. I‘m really intrigued who is the murder, must be the same person that murdered Frances.

Sarah-Vanessa | 272 comments Chapter 25 - End
Ok, I finished this one today. I definitely liked it, a little cozy mystery novel. As I only had the audiobook available I probably missed some things during the story. I tend to sometimes zone out during listening. But I definitely loved the small town, the characters and the whole vibe. Didn’t see the ending at all. I was suspecting several other people being the murder, but definitely not the one which turned out to be in the end.
I‘ll definitely get into the second book as well later on.
