So, I'm behind again, but luckily this is a small book. LOL!

I wouldn't say Wells is a "popular" author but he is a well-known one. And what a surprise to find that I own a copy of his first book!! I have seen (sorta) a couple versions of this book as a movie. Luckily, I don't remember much about them so I think it will be ok.

I was actually impressed! When he was talking about the "science" of time travel at the beginning I was a little worried about the book being too science-y. But it actually turns out rather good! Excellent book!

P.S. It's a pretty short book (about 114 pgs) so I finished it in a day. Which is good because I am behind. Still haven't read my short-story book and I'm a couple days late starting on week 16. But week 16 is fave author and I devour his books so maybe I can get a little bit of the short story book in too!

I read this some weeks ago and enjoyed it. It's very well done for an "old" book and it was nice to discover the beginning of time travel!
