Mary (madamefifi) | 358 comments What popped into my head was The Keys to the Street by Ruth Rendell, but it's been so long since I read it that I can't remember what it's a bout.

Hmmmm...I sense a re-reading opportunity.

Philip (philiphabecker) I just finished up Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close which featured a strange key. I thought the book was pretty good, but most people thought it was REALLY good.

It has a 4.17 rating.

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) The Dark Tower series has a Key theme. :)

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) I always love to see what topics you come up with Fiona. They never cease to amaze me. Other than that, I have no key related books to offer.

Hi Fiona.

I am with Lyn (above). You always get the brain going in unexpected and interesting ways.

I would like to suggest:

The Golden Key by George MacDonald and
The Search for the Crystal Key by Ellen Dye

Carol The Key To Rebecca by Ken Follett A classic Follett.

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) Carol - I love Ken Follett. I will have to add that one to my TBR.

Absolutely a classic. Good call Hayes.

Kat (thatcrazykatlady) Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen is a cute YA novel in which keys play a large part.
