Joseph (bluemanticore) | 906 comments I'm going to give it a try. Since I'm joining late, I hope it's ok if I backtrack and include books from the previous months since the official start date.

So I can remember the 8 regions:

North America: United States, Mexico, Canada, Iceland

The Caribbean: Costa Rica, Jamaica, Bahamas, Dominican Republic

Latin America: Panama, *Falkland Islands, Ecuador

Europe: England, France, Spain, Holland, Scotland, Vatican City, Albania, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Poland, Serbia, Portugal, Iceland, Wales, Romania, Croatia, Slovakia, Finland, Greece, Hungary

Africa: Algeria, South Africa, Mali, Egypt, Liberia, Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Tanzania

The Middle East: Saudia Arabia, Israel, Iraq, Turkey, Iran

Asia: Russia (Republic of Kalmykia), China, India, Vietnam, The Philippines, Thailand, Japan

Oceania/Australia: Australia, New Zealand

*Antarctica: : I know we didn't have to visit it, but since it so rare to find a book that does take place there, I just couldn't pass up a visit. And the book I read took place part in the Falkland Islands also, so I figured combining the territory with the unnecessary continent ought to count as one visit. Hope that's ok.

Joseph (bluemanticore) | 906 comments I'm having fun with this challenge. I'm going to read some books I might not have pulled off the shelf if it weren't for their locations. I think I will travel to either Egypt or Portugal next. I might travel to Egypt, either with Poirot again in "Death on the Nile," or to go see Amelia Peabody there in "Crocodile on the Sandbank." Or I might be off to Portugal instead, in "The Last Kabbalist of Lisbon." We'll see what I'm in the mood for. Wish me bon voyage. Au revoir for now.
