Not too bad - I think I enjoyed the boot camp more than the actual mission though! *laughs* A worthy book to be my 400th read (according to goodreads :p)

and coming in at number 10. Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves
Quite possibly the strangest book I have ever read - I hope it makes it's way to the UK!

Wasn't so impressed by this one. I love the Saga of Darren Shan and people have said the Demonata Series is excellent... Hmmm
Meanwhile, Beautiful Creatures is taking forever to read!! Enjoying but it's looong.

I must say I've been in a bit of a reading slump these past few weeks, what with my mum visiting and us tromping all over the countryside. But I will be reading a lot more next week out! ^.^

I Looooove this series so much ^.^ Not looking forward to the final book... But also cannot wait a whole year!

Surprised and amazed at how GOOD this book was. Makes me want to read everything he's ever written.

Such a complete emotional, heart-wrenching novel. Gods, my heart was aching by the end *tear*

Ugh, boring. Glad it was only 178 pages!

Glad she is hasn't broken her mould and wrote a great book then lol!

Amazing! Loved it. I think Holly suits adult writing far more than teen/younger fiction.

A tough one to fully explain - definitely needs to be read! I loved it :)

Glad to hear it. just started reading it last night!

Anyways!! I'm over-due for some updates:
22. Vampire Knight, Volume 1
23. Vampire Knight, Volume 2 (I wasn't going to add any Manga, but I so rarely read any these days so I figured I will!!)
24. The Iron King by Julie Kagawa - BIG LOVE, have book 2 to read...
25. Sanctuary by Melissa Marr - Nothing to write home about...
26. Torment by Lauren Kate - OH MY GOD, could this character get any more whingy?? Didn't finish...
27. The Maze Runner by James Dashner - REALLY GOOD, can't wait for bk two!
28. Stolen: A letter to my captor by Lucy Christopher - AMAZING, I cried a lot.
29. Angel by L. A. Weatherly - Really interesting but FAR too many 'intimate' scenes with the two main characters...
30. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins - I had no doubt that this would be incredible. I cried so much at the end. So heartaching...
31. Trash by Andy Mulligan - Intriguing... Wouldn't have read it if not for the event we're planning at work. Good though!
32. Birth of a Killer by Darren Shan - Left me somewhat unsatisfied... Might have something to do with the fact that it's a prequel series, thus those of us who have read the Cirque du Freak series know what will happen to the majority of the characters....
Okay, I'm fully caught up now... Time to catch up on the rest of the forum!! *dances off*

Yeah - The Scorch Trials is going to be awesome, can't wait!
33. Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli - so sweet, a joy to read!
34. Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy - so much fun! Can't wait to read the rest :)

35. TimeRiders by Alex Scarrow - A lot of fun to read- and Alex is so passionate about history!
36. White Crow by Marcus Sedgwick - Perfectly spooky and cooky :)

39. Pretty Bad Things by C.J. Skuse - Read for the Cheltenham Lit Fest, was a lot of fun ^.^
40. Echoes by Laura Dockrill - a seriously twisted collection of short stories, but so cool
41. Memoirs of a Master Forger - William Heaney - also known as Graham Joyce, only my favourite author :) Slow to start but very fascinating!
42. Entangled by Cat Clarke - Read this in four hours, that should say it all!

44. Across the Universe by Beth Revis - again: another proof, again: absolutely amazing :)
45. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling - Re-reading the series!

Across the Universe on the authors website. looks really good! I will be looking forward to getting that

46. 0.4 by Mike Lancaster - Awesome teen sci-fi!
47. Eighth Grade Bites by Heather Brewer - fun younger vampire fiction - no sparkly vampires to be seen here!
48. The Silent Land by Graham Joyce - Brilliant, one of my new favourites by Graham.
49. The Girl Savage by Katherine Rundell - A sweet tale of innocence.
50. The Magician's Apprentice by Trudi Canavan - very much a prequel but interesting set up for the next series!
And there we go - not as many books read as I would have liked!
Happy New Year to all :)

Last year I read around 70 books (about 20 of them being re-reads) so this year I'm going for 90 books in total - lets see if I can do it!
1. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
2. Temeraire by Naomi Novik
3. Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder
4. Joshua Files Invisible City by Maria Harris
5. The Game by Diana Wynne Jones
6. Do the Creepy Thing by Graham Joyce
7. Ashby Malinda Lo
That's it so far... You can see a distinct YA vibe here *laughs*.
I usually write reviews for most of the books I read over at my blog if you want to check it out -
