Lyon's Pride - ISBN 0441001416 - 327 pages

The Rabbi and the Hit Man - ISBN 0066210674 - 296 pages

The book I read Good in Bed ISBN 07434718174 had a cover of legs on a pink bed with a yellow pie on a green plate and is a WSP (Washington Square Press) Readers Club book with 375 pages. The book on GR with the same ISBN has a different cover and more pages.

The book The Women of Brewster Place: A Novel in Seven Stories ISBN 014006690X had a black background with a woman's head on the cover and is a Penguin Books paperback with 192 pages. The book on GR with the same ISBN has a different cover and more pages.

I changed Lyon's Pride and The Rabbi and the Hit Man. I didn't change The Kite Runner, however, as WorldCat (which is our preferred source for page numbers) lists 372 as the page number and that's a HUGE difference.

Do you mean 0743418174? If so, I just purchased the same edition with the cover you described. I'm looking into it, I'm not sure if it's an alternate cover edition or the wrong cover on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ.

But I did change the page numbers to the 376 from WorldCat (the "Acknowledgements" page is numbered, but it's at the bottom of the page not the top).

Changed the pages - but again, it might be an alternate cover edition. I couldn't even find the cover you described in the editions on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ. What's the publication date for your copy?

Vicky, you were right about The Kite Runner. Thanks for not changing that one. I try to be accurate but must have misa typed that one.

Regarding Good in Bed, my copy looks like this cover which does not match the ISBN.

For The Women of Brewster Place, my copy was published in 1983 (no month listed). I can scan my cover and post it here tomorrow.

Bea - I added Alternate Cover Editions of both your books. Because we can only have one book with a specific ISBN in the system, neither listing has the ISBN field filled out, but they do have it listed in the description. At least now your covers will match! :)

Hello, sorry I need some page count help again...

My copy of August: Osage County (ISBN: 9781559363303) has 138 pages, but the goodreads page states 96 only.

A Ring of Endless Light (ISBN: 9780374362997) has 324 pages, not 336.

My copy of 0688052304 has this cover and 412pp.

I'm reading The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne. My copy is the same cover but it only
has 723 pages not 768 pages. Pub. date is 2004 just like this copy. The ISBN# is also the same.

Concerning an alternative cover: It can't be "added" to an existing edition with ISBN. The only solution would be to create a new edition (you can do that yourself by clicking on the appropriate link in the upper right corner of the editions page) leaving the ISBN-field blank (after creating the edition, just leave another message so a librarian can combine it with the work and add a librarian note explaining about the alternate cover edition to prevent it from being deleted again).

Changing the cover for the ISBN you gave is not recommendable as that is already uploaded by someone and not just an amazon-import, so it really belongs to that edition.
