Kristi--sorry to hear about your MIL. Mine died from cancer too--but back in 1988. And I STILL miss her. She was a wonderful woman and she went way out of her way to make friends with all 3 of her daughters-in-law and to NOT try to come between her sons and their wives. She said she knew that it was always the wife who sent the b.d. cards, christmas gifts etc, and that they were the ones who really decided where to spend holidays. So, she said she figured she'd better do all she could to keep them happy with her and to make them want to see her. She really was a very wise woman, even if she was way too young to die.
