Amy So I have a few questions about the challenge. They may have been answered before so I'm sorry if I'm repeating.

1. How is the scoring working? I see 1.5, but that's not the score right?

2. Do we do each part of all the sections? Or do we pick and choose?

3. Only YA books right?

I'm starting my list today and just reading over everything seems very daunting!

1.5 means that it is the 1st section and worth 5 points.

You can pick and choose but you can only do each part once. I think all of it together equals 300 points, so that's the goal.

Yes only YA books. (Or Middle Grade) Except Jesi told me we could read Alex award winners and books out of the Ultimate Teen Book Guide

It ended up being fairly easy for me to find books on my bookshelves that will work for most tasks. Don't let it overwhelm you! And you don't have to make a list to participate, so if you want to fly by the seat of your pants you totally can.

Amy So you do only ONE task from October, One from november, etc....?

Jesi (pwnedkitten) | 198 comments Nah... you do each task (1.5, 1.10...) but instead of being able to do them several times (like in Angela's challenge, where you can do the same letter multiple times for a different value) you only do the task once. You just don't *have* to do all of them to make one of them count, if that makes sense?

Amy Yes that does. I'm part of the way through my list (some of these are super tough to find). Gonna check my book stash and see what's in there next. Thanks for being patient with me.

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) I have my list ready (for the most part, except 4.5)- should I post it here or wait for the official?

message 58: by Jesi (new)

Jesi (pwnedkitten) | 198 comments Seeing as people are already making their lists, I'm going to post the official rule post thing so that people can post their lists now, instead of waiting a week.

Amy For section 4.15, can we also read a book that is on the WT Favorite's list? If not, is there a list somewhere of the books that have been up for discussion in the past?

4.5 is hard for me, because there are several books I liked that I've read in 2010,but were published in a different year. Does that make a difference?

If you look at the bookshelf for the group, it shows you all the books we've read in the past. :)
