Just finished chapter 8 and I'm quite breathless! Stoker seems to have real knack of building up the atmosphere. Chapter 5 was so calm and serene with the introduction of Mina and Lucy...an..."
One of the reasons why he may not attack Mina is because Lucy is more susceptible to his influence. She already has a history of sleepwalking, and this trait he can use to call out to her, in addition to the fact that Lucy is presented as being more flirtatious with her 3 different suitors and how much she enjoys the attention.
Mina is more level-headed than Lucy is, so she would not be as always drawn into his influence.
