Hi Jim.
Thanks for the nice adds!

Please remember to always add the names of the artists.
Since the members of our group are based all across the world in some countries certain rights force youtube to block the videos - as happened to me with the first one, the B52s.
WHen you add the artists' names people can try and find other videos - which most often are available.
Besides that I think it also shows we respect the artists and their work.

B52's
Talking Heads in CBGB's - such a shame that place is gone!!!
Devo

Yikes! What country would block the B-52's?

Germans... but in their defense: they don't block the group, just certain videos. It's a rights thing. GEMA (the institution which takes care of the musicians' rights) has blocked it because apparently they don't have a payment agreement for this in Germany.

But there are other videos of the band.

Here he is in 2000, live with one of his classics:

Stevie Ray! Actually, he was killed in a helicopter crash after a performance with all of his musical idols and his brother. The happiest moment occurred just before he decided to take a helicopter back to his hotel. They crashed into some mountain, I believe.

We had a great music teacher in school.
He made us listen to almost everything from Bach to The Kinks - and more. Sadly he wasn't much into Blues , Bebop and R&B but I got there by myself.

Jill Hutchinson (bucs1960) Am I the only person here who likes Jerry Lee Lewis, the "Killer"? The man could destroy a piano, figuratively and literally. He played loud enough and fast enough that you couldn't pick up all the mistakes. Somewhere is my collection of 45 rpm discs, I have a copy of his "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" on the Sun label. If it was pristine, it would probably be worth some money but it is not even close....it has been played and replayed and probably would make a good Frisbee..........but I cherish it even in its old age!!
