Yikes! What country would block the B-52's?

Germans... but in their defense: they don't block the group, just certain videos. It's a rights thing. GEMA (the institution which takes care of the musicians' rights) has blocked it because apparently they don't have a payment agreement for this in Germany.
But there are other videos of the band.

My favorite version of Psycho Killer, by Moxy Früvous. It's the energy that gets me.

Stevie Ray! Actually, he was killed in a helicopter crash after a performance with all of his musical idols and his brother. The happiest moment occurred just before he decided to take a helicopter back to his hotel. They crashed into some mountain, I believe.

Nice!

Dude! Jimi Hendrix had to be the greatest guitarist who ever lived! He challenged the way the guitar was heard and brought a whole new element to the instrument. His early death always bring tears to my eyes...and I wasn't even born yet when he died.

I'm with you on Steely Dan.
For a laugh, I like to listen to the live version of Bodhisattva, the one with this intro (advise to listen and not watch the guy lip synching):
Seriously, a couple of my favorites
Dr. Wu
Gaucho

Also enjoyed Weird Al's version of this song. For accuracy's sake:

We had a great music teacher in school.
He made us listen to almost everything from Bach to The Kinks - and more. Sadly he wasn't much into Blues , Bebop and R&B but I got there by myself.

Sorry about the weird video; couldn't find a decent live version that I liked.

Wish there were music teachers like that at least for the kids today. Then maybe we wouldn't be suffering from the Lady Gaga plague.

Do you really want to hurt Boy George??!?

Haha, Jim. A nice one. I guess I know what he'll be howling when I click the link...
As to the man (...) I guess he's hurt himself enough as it is.
But he's causing me toothaches big time!

Elvis Presley

The King really got the girlies screamin'...

You can see why the girls were screaming with delight, that young Elvis was awful easy on the eyes (and ears).

He made a nice transition to country music once his days as a rocker were over and reinvigorated his career.

Hi Jim.
Thanks for the nice adds!
Please remember to always add the names of the artists.
Since the members of our group are based all across the world in some countries certain rights force youtube to block the videos - as happened to me with the first one, the B52s.
WHen you add the artists' names people can try and find other videos - which most often are available.
Besides that I think it also shows we respect the artists and their work.
B52's
Talking Heads in CBGB's - such a shame that place is gone!!!
