I got the book today. I am waiting for the first book though. Do we need to read these books in order. Has everyone read the first book?

I heard from Karen Harper that they do not need to be read in order -- a relief for me since I too have not read the first one!

I started with the first one, I'm almost done and have loved it. I like the mystery aspect of it. Keeps me guessing!

Okay, so maybe I will start the second book then and read the first book later. I will wait until February 1st to see if I get the first book. Hopefully, I can read it in a few days because I want to read more than 4 books in February. I seem to be slowing down on my reading again. I am almost done with Love on a Dime.

It's a new author for me too.

Is there a way to tell who all is reading the month's selection? Or should I ask, is there an easy way to tell? It would be nice to know when we're all done so we can chat it up.

We must all be busy reading since there hasn't been much discussion about too much of anything.

If you go to the group home page and click on "View" below the picture of Dark Harvest on the "Currently Reading" section at the top, it should tell you if people are still reading it or not. If there's nothing under "Reading Statuses" then we must all be finished!

Me too, Diane. I'm hoping we'll get responses from others in our reading group. We know they're out there!

Same here. I usually nominate books I own.

@Barbara Ann: I like the idea of either focusing on finishing a series or reading new releases. My only problem with nominating new releases is that people who might participate in the discussion may not have had enough to buy their copies if one that's only been out a few months at the time is nominated and chosen .
