The newest Lupi World book was great. I love Lily and Rule. And I have to admit it--I do have a thing for Rule's Daddy. :o)

Not to give away and spoilers, but. . . The ending of this book totally ROCKS. Now I have to hang on and wait another year for the NEXT ONE. (Sobbing softly) Need the authors to write faster and the publishers to publish faster.

Tracking the Tempest is book 2 in the Jane True series. Jane is a halfling--half human half selkie. She's only just learned this recently, and is trying to learn to survive in her new reality.

Somewhat humourous, but I liked the first book better than this one. Only 4 stars out of 5.

PARANORMAL CREATURES CHALLENGE - MARTINA'S PROGRESS: 4/10

Finished reading Destined for an Early Grave (Night Huntress, #4) by Jeaniene Frost (★★★★�). This is a urban fantasy (UF) series featuring half-vampire, Cat Crawfield and vampire master, Bones (aka Crispin).

In this book, Cat & Bones are going on vacation, until Cat begins having strange dreams about another man . . . one who claims that Bones isn't her husband.

There's almost no excuse why this book sat on my TBR pile for over a year. I loved the first two books in the series and while the third was still very good, it wasn't quite up to par with the other two. This one, however, was absolutely fabulous!

Oh well, at least now I won't have to wait very long for book #5 to come out. This Side of the Grave is due out in Feb 2011. Books 6 & 7 are contracted, but no title have yet been announced.

There's also a "spin-off" paranormal romance series set in the same world. First one is First Drop of Crimson and features Cat's best friend, Denise, and Bones' best friend, Spade - both characters you meet in the Night Huntress series. The second is Eternal Kiss of Darkness, featuring another known character, Mencheres. Additional spin-off books are planned, but haven't been announced yet.
