Jennifer (jengray72) | 3 comments I had resisted, but I got a kobo for Christmas, and I'm actually enjoying using it. It had 100 classics preloaded on it, so I'm working on those. If you're not willing to shell out the cash just yet, I just found out about a chance to win a free one. If you "like" the Kobo facebook page between today and Friday, you could walk away with an ereader or a $200 egift card. Here's the link:

Andrea (Willowpoint) | 2 comments Yes, got the Sony touch ereader. The ereader is great for especially large books. Ie: The girl with the dragon tattoo, etc. Am currently reading one book on the ereader and one hard cover book. Really like getting books from the public library for the ereader.

Jennifer (jengray72) | 3 comments I don't think my local library does that yet, but I'll keep after them! Also, funny, but the first ebook I bought WAS The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo! I'm starting it now.

Melissa (melitious) | 254 comments I have a Kindle and am totally in love with it. I actually just finished reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo! And I'm working on The Girl Who Played with Fire. I agree that it's great for larger books.

Nathalie (natjen29) Not an "e-reader" per se.. but I use my tablet pc to read some books. Quite easy to take abroad, since I pretty much read anywhere.

Jenny | 1 comments I just ordered a Kindle and I can't wait until it arrives! Unfortunately that won't be for two to three weeks. Sigh.

Connie Like Jennifer - I had resisted for a long time. However I have engineering family members that love gadgets. They sent me a NookColor this Christmas. I really enjoy it. I've recently read a historical novel with many antiquated words -- so I appreciated the dictionary access. The color Nook also supports magazines...I find that a bit too unwieldy...you can't see the entire page with the device (I am sure with computer Nook app it is fine)...but great to archive copies.

I do miss the feel of books and an actual bookshelf. But gosh much nicer to carry than a thick tome when travelling!

Kathy (bookgoddess1969) I have a Kindle and I absolutely love it! It'll never replace real books for me completely....there's just nothing like the feel (and even smell) of a book in your hands! But I have a really bad back and now I can read whatever I want, however big! :)

DJ | 3 comments I owned a Nook since February, and I haven't bought a DTB since. I'm not a book purist, so I don't need to have the "feel and smell" of the book to please me. I'm just happy to hold something lighter than a 800+ page book! :-D

Christina's Book Chronicles (christinasbookchronicles) I got a NookColor for Christmas too and I love it. I also haven't paid for an ebook and I'm not sure that I ever will. I read a lot of free classics from which is much better than the classics offered by Google, quality wise. But I have a hard time paying for a book that has restrictions on how many times I can lend it out when I can get the same book for half the price at a library sale, etc., and lend it to whoever I want! ....and I love holding the actual book too ;)
