Well I contacted Mark Haddon and he said he has absolutely no interest in an author chat. Burns me up, how dare he turn down Chicks on Lit? errrrrr

He doesn't know what he's missing. But I know I'll be missing his next book. ;)

Rude! I didn't much care for his book (it was ok) so i'm not sure I'd even have anything to ask him really.

That makes sense what he wrote there Teri but he should phrase his responses better so he doesn't come off looking like a big ol jack-ass!

Okay maybe I'm a jaded but this made me laugh

After the publication of Curious Incident I did a lot of publicity. It seemed a good way of giving something back to the readers who had bought so many copies and to my publishers who had sold them.

Um yeah all that and it seemed a good way to sell more of your books!

Jeez..it sucks that he seems so rude cause I loved his books - especially A SPOT OF BOTHER (sorry Mich, I really really did like it)
