Should I come up with an advanced backdrop for this roleplay, or would you like me to leave it as just a normal sci-fi open for the interpretation of the role players?

I like a vague plot, just so it doesn't end up running itself into the ground, and the RP eventually ends and we can start a new one. That's probably just me though D:

Uhh, how about the cyborgs planned a surprise attack on a ship of humans?

Here's my plot idea!

So, the ambassadors to the cyborg planet never returned, so I'm going to send my charrie to their planet to find them. In order for her to meet your characters, we could have the cyborgs win the battle and either you escape and because of limited fuel you land on their planet, or you are taken hostage. We can go from there. What do you say?
