Previous Kobo purchased book was Annabel by Kathleen Winter -- one of the short-list titles for the 2010 Scotiabank Giller Prize -- and, yes, another book whihc will sit with you after your have come to the end. I posted a review here.
I'm reading the Nora Roberts Sign of Seven Trilogy and just finished a Debbie Macomber Christmas book called Angels Everywhere! Chapters doesn't usually put them out until about November but on my Kobo I can get them at any time of the year!

Alayna wrote: "I am currently reading Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. Thank goodness for the kobo, ive wanted to read her books for awhile, but her books are always in such small print, now that i finally..."
oooh Interview with the Vampire was a good one! One of the first Anne Rice books I ever read! And I agree with you about the Kobo. Best. Purchase. Ever.

Having just finished Giles Blunt's Forty Words for Sorrow , a police procedural set in Northern Ontario (published in 2000 and the first of seven Detective Inspector John Cardinal stories), I needed a change of pace:

My favourite quote, from "Little Readers" thus far:
"little children who speak bad words can never go to heaven. God will cast them into the great fire. Have you ever spoken bad words? If so, God is angry with you"
-- Chapter 1

And, yes: I am reading on my Kobo Touch. I just got awarded the "Your TV is feeling lonely" because I have read five times during prime time, 8 pm to 10 pm. Who knew?

I knew. When you push the Home button then, up above, push "Reading Life --> Awards" all the available awards are listed.
Do you have the kissy-lips "BookLover" award? You're supposed to get it for logging into your account and I've logged into my account but not getting it.

So, are The Dragonbone Chair and Red Dragon next? :)
Maybe you could help with my dilemma: I started reading A Game of Thrones after Game of Thrones premiered on HBO. Should my next read be the rest of the series (and spoil the next seasons) or should I hold off and read them as the show progresses?
Just finished The Anubis Gates and I need to decide!

Unfortunately it is not available on Kobo for some reason. My next Kobo read will be from Courtney Milan.

I really enjoyed The Beekeeper's Apprentice and will be reading the second book A Monstrous Regiment of Women next.
I am almost finished the freebie Anna Karenina (I think, for some reason my kobo touch tells me I am only 1% through it but after reading for a month I must be further than that!)
The last book I read on my kobo was The Beggar's Opera. My review is here http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
I tend to read on my kobo when I am away for work or holidays so read more of the YA and mysteries on the kobo (and the free classics) and read my literary fiction on paper.

I've noticed the 1% thing too! However, it only does that with a book that I've actually purchased from Kobo itself. If it's a book I've bought from somewhere else then it shows the correct percentage. Goodness knows why?!

Busy reading Gates of Paradise by Melissa de la cruz
