There does not seem to be too much of participation this past season for RAFTS. I understand it might be too much with the monthly shelves and then ROAR. People will, of course, have their own busy lives too ;)

So, just wondering if you'd like another season trial or shall we let this rest in peace?

I like the idea but I've got a couple of big reading goals this year and the books aren't fitting in for me very well. :(

I just have not been able to get myself organized enough to start the reading, although I had some books. Since I started late, I only had weeks to do the reading and chose instead to learn more about the ROAR challenge and to finish up other challenges for another group. So, I guess at this time, my vote would be to skip it this season.

I, too, loved the idea, but just couldn't fit books in what with the ROAR challenge, and the traveling library group that I am in. Maybe we should try it again another time?

I liked the idea, but in trying to balance my LOST list, the ROAR challenge, and the monthly shelf, it just doesn't seem to work for me. I've had a Michener book on my shelf this entire time but haven't cracked it open, and although my husband and I are still making our way slowly through Twain's Life on the Mississippi, our listening simply refuses to meet time deadlines.

Maybe if there's a time when there isn't something as all-consuming as the ROAR challenge would be a good time to try it again?

Natasha, great minds think alike! I just had the exact same thought, so I am thinking of incorporating it into a ROAR :)

Btw, I am also guilty. I managed to read 1 Michener book - a really THICK one! but that's all I could manage.

So, RAFTS is on-hold...
