Does anybody else hate Simon?
yeah, me too especially in the beginning. At first I did like him and I wanted him and Clary to be together, but then like in the middle of the book, he was acting so stupid! and then jace was way cooler so yeah
exactly! at first i was like, 'oh, okay. simon's not so bad ...' but at some point i just got really frustrated w/him and was like, 'OKAY SIMON YOU CAN JUST GO AWAY NOW!!!' he's getting so whiney and annoying like 'boohooo clary doesn't like meee' and i'm like 'yeah. get over it.' :P lol
i agree and disagree... i hated how simon got all jealouse when he saw Clary with Jace especially during the Steelie Court scene, i was like, 'umm, ok simon.' i disagree because i think at the end of City of Ashes, he finally saw that Clary had no such feelings for him and said, 'lets just be friends.' i kind of want to see where things go with him and Maia thought, they seem like a good couple...
I like simon with maia or izzy. Jace and clary need to end up together. they can't be related.

LOLI know. He was annoying, but he was very witty. I didn't hate him. I just found him annoying.
Oh well, in the third book he's not in the triangle anymore. Apparently it's new member is the recently added character- Sebastian (find out more about him, read her cookies)
By the way,for those of you who do not know yet, Sebastian is on the cover of COG.
He was cool when he was human but that stupid plot device giving him vampire powers and not just vampire powers but super vampire powers was sooooooooooooooo lame!!!!Smacks of convenient plot device (I was so waiting for her to write...and then Clary woke up from her dream) and ultimately ruined the character for me. He could have been the Zander character from Buffy the vampire slayer...speaking of which doesn't this book remind you totally of that (instead of a girl, this time its a boy!)....
i knooow i mean what the heck? he's a VAMPIRE? noooo!!! that's so cliché. >.< why couldn't he just DIE, for crying out loud?! DX*sigh* oh well ... i'm still wondering where this will lead. hmmm

I liked Simon as a human, but when he is a vamp. its just not the same. he should learn to get over Clary. and i really liked clary and jace together, i dont even think they are related, they cant be. i did like simon and clary together until.......Jace came, lol
Simon should get lost... Sometimes he's okay, but mostly he's a dweeb. And as a vampire I can't stand him.
I do not hate Simon, I feel sorry for him...here he's loved Clary practically all his life and she just thinks of him as a friend. It's so sad, you guys must have some sympathy for his situation. I do, of course, prefer Jace as Clary's soulmate, but that doesn't mean I despise Simon. It's like Team Edward vs. Team Jacob all over again!
i didnt mind simon... until he started dying. He "died" like 5 time, a kept coming back. After that, i was waiting for him to really die...but he didn't.
Okay, he didn't annoy me so much in City of Glass, I admit. But I don't really want to say anything else, cuz some ppl haven't read it yet ... ><
lol i liked simon acctually he was quite nice.. but the first book he anoyed me abit but you have to feel sorry for the guy loving clary for 10 years and she didnt even notice! lol
yeah. clary isn't the brightest ... ah haha. and yeah, i do feel bad for simon, but he is kinda annoying still. and Jace is infinitely hotter. :)

I'm sorry.I love the books I really do.
Just there are to many Twilight lovers, it gets on my nerves.
Like I don't see you as one of them, cause you talk about other things other than Twilight, but all the girls that are only in love with Edward cause his played by Rob Patterson and his seen as the hottest thing alive.
That's not why I loved Twilight.
Twilight is really just a love story.It's not all about Edward.
It just frustrates me when I see girl's obsessing over Twilight, just for the 'Edward' part.
It drove me insane once the movie was out and everyone just keep saying how unbelievably good looking Edward was, that's all.
He is okay looking, but were they even watching the movie?
Do people even know what it is about? Like Apart from Edward?
The Love story is the most amazing part, how nothing can keep them apart, Everything they have tried, nothing seems the work. And the love triangle.
That's what I love. The complications, stress, near death experiences that makes you on edge, everything word and action in that book! Not just Edward!
Sorry to rant, but I'm not a Twilight hater. I'm just very strongly opinionated when it comes to stuff like this.

yeah yeah i totally agree. i luv twilight, but ppl get so obsessed w/edward cullen and whining bcuz he doesn't exist ... it can get obnoxious! :P i mean i luv edward too, but i'm not OBSESSED. the story is the more important part!! and jacob is also awesome; in fact, i would personally pick him over edward cuz edward's a little too intense for me. lol.omg u know what i hate is that if you like twilight, suddenly everyone totally disrespects you. like, i wrote this review for this book i didn't like, and ppl wrote comments on it like "well i don't take your opinion seriously because you like twilight". i mean, seriously, like WTH????!!!
