I just started a book blog. I feel kind of bad self promoting like this when it's only a week old, but here I am.

I've just started really trying to blog for more than just a hobby-- I love YA literature and am working on my PhD in Children's and Young Adult Literature. I'm (almost) 25 years old and teach undergraduate classes in children's lit and blog about all sorts of other random things (trying to become a runner, misadventures in homeownership, etc.)

I agree wholeheartedly! I would so love to have a local book club with people my own age and just hang out! Most of my friends are guys and my girlfriends are all married with kids and too busy to chill anymore.

Also, I am non-denominational Christian but my boyfriend is Catholic as well. He isn't a strict Catholic though so I am hoping that one day he might switch to my church but I would never pressure him about it. I've been to his church a few times but Catholicism just isn't for me. The only reason I care at all is because I don't want to confuse our kids if we ever have any. But they will have to decide for themselves one day either way, just like we did.

Anyone here live in Columbus, GA!?

I am mainly using my blog for reviews, TTT and lists (and it is well... very... yea it is living its own life!)
I write the lists like TTT in english, and sometimes the reviews - it depends a bit on what language I read/listened to the book in... So the site itself is a mix of english, (broken)danish and some norwegian.. A good mix in other words xD
