32,
If there are any you would rather have from the list, that would be ok.
(selection change to comply with the rules) my bad never read the rules..
Jestersinc, I am glad to see that you are reading for this challenge. So often late arrivals don't start reading, but you are really digging in. That's great!
I have some questions/remarks for you though.
First you have posted messages to say that you have completed 3 books. Could you please say in that message if you read that book for the individual challenge of for both challenges. Also in your message 6 where you keep track of everything you have crossed out 5 books. Why is there a difference?
Then I am happy to see that you have chosen your 10 tasks, however you have chosen all interactive tasks. That is against the rules:( Every member of the team has to do 1 interactive task so you can do only one for the group challenge. Of course you may do them all for the individual challenge but for the group challenge you have to pick 1 and choose 3 others.
I will update what you have read when you have answered my wquestions. Thanks!

All the books I have read are for the Team Challenge.
I thought instead of posting everytime I finished a task I will just cross them off, however if it is better to post the tasks then I am happy to do that

My bad I saw the rule about books under 150 pages, thus Task 1 is not Complete.
Jestersinc wrote: "Hi Barbara, seeing as I am not really getting a lot of effort from the rest of the team, I thought I will take on all the interactive tasks to make them lighter on the other team member to particip..."
Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. We have thought hard of 4 interactive tasks so every member of a team had to do one. I understand you're just trying to be kind but you have to choose one and leave the others for the rest of the team if and when they show up.

I don't know which version you have read but I read it recently and my version had 157 pages. I know Lauren S has also read it and used it in another challenge so her version also has more than 150 pages. So in this case I would say it still counts.

Done..

The story is inspired by Sherlock Holmes, I read all of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories as a kid, for task 1, I revisited Mr Holmes and it reminded me of pleasant evenings, staying in bed, playing hooky to finish a book, real awesome memories. The problem with trying to be Sherlock Holmes, nobody really know what it is like to be Sherlock Holmes, we always experience Sherlock Holmes out of the context of what Dr Watson observe or experience when he interacts with Sherlock Holmes.
Apartment 22B, 209 Longstreet, Cape Town
I wrap melancholy around me like an old familiar jacket when I enter the well appointed lounge, seeing my old friend Dr. Watson perusing the morning papers.
I mumble an affirmative to his cheery greeting, I scan the papers not bothering to read all the small talk and gossip, no need to fill my mind with unneeded cluster, then I find the article I was looking for "South Africa Government signs Arms contracts totalling US$4,8 billion"
I exclaim loudly, 'By jove Watson, I found our next case!'
Thus, I would love to be Sherlock Holmes and would investigate the Arms Deal, because I believe it would take someone brilliant like Sherlock Holmes or Batman to really discover how rotten the Arms Deal egg really is.

Let me know which task will replace task 21. Thanks!

I seem to have caused confusion since I have just been adding the completed tasks to my original post and not listing them separately as comments.
I've finished 2,3,4,5,21,23 and 36 for the team. I'll post them separately as well in future.

Hey Carolien, you need to post every task you complete in a seperate message and tell which number task you have completed and if it was for the individual or the group challenge. A task completed for the group challenge will automatically also count for the individual challenge.
I see you update your tasks at several messages and that is very confucing for me.
Could you please post a message telling me all the tasks you have completed so far and then in the future post a message every time you compelte another task? Thank you!
