Does anyone know if it's possible to mark a thread or specific comments in a thread as "unread" after one has read them? I accidentally clicked on a thread with "whole series spoilers" in the Honor Harrington thread and I wonder if I can "undo" that.

Click on the thread and look to the right, under the "search discussion posts" box. There's a mark unread link to click.

OK, I have a "search discussion posts" box and under that is says "unread topics| mark unread", but on that thread, and several others, there is only "unread topics". I wonder if, since I've gone to that thread more than once, I no longer can mark it as "unread". Seems weird to me.

I seem to remember seeing or reading something about marking threads read or unread....think I could find it. No.

I think that unread topics thing just shows you all the topics you havent read yet

I'm going to try posting a shrt comment and see if that "new" post will let me mark the thread as unread. I seem to have that option whenever there are new posts in a thread...of course, if it's my post, it might not work. We'll see.

When I first opened this topic, I had the link to mark it as unread. I closed the tab & reopened this topic. Now that 'unread' link is gone. That could be on purpose, but seems like a bug to me. I'd report it in Feedback or to tech support, if it bothered me.

You will again have the "mark as unread" link the first time you open a topic after someone posts a new message to the thread.

I see it now. Mark Unread. Weird that it didn't show up when I was here last night.
I checked another thread I had not read and opened it up and looked and there it was. Mark Unread
