Even in the names you gave above, the correct way to pronounce Ivanov is to have the stress on the last syllable.
For the few Russian words in the book, he mangled them even worse. For example, Germaniya (Germany). He pronounced the G the same way that it's pronounced in English - "Germany". The way to pronounce the G is as in the word "Great". Russian doesn't have the J sound normally, and if it's needed to pronounce foreign names/words, it's spelled with 2 letters.
I'm sure he mispronounced other languages in similar ways.

I'm guessing at some of the stress placements. I kept hearing it on the second syllable, but it could easily have been the last.
REAMDE: re-AM-dee for the first two sections, REEM-dee for the rest.
